This Privacy Policy describes how LinkBio collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
On registration: Name, email address, profile picture (via Google or direct upload), and username.
Profile data: Links you add, descriptions, images, and template settings.
Visitor data: When someone visits your public page, we collect anonymous data including view count, click count, device type, country (country level only), and referral source. Full IP addresses are not stored.
Payment receipt data: An image of your bank transfer receipt when upgrading to the Starter plan.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the service and display your page to visitors.
- To provide you with page analytics (views, clicks).
- To send account-related notifications (subscription activation, important updates).
- To improve the platform and develop new features.
3. Tracking Pixels (Starter Plan)
Starter plan users can enable tracking pixels (Snapchat, TikTok, or Meta Ads). This pixel works for the creator’s benefit only and fires when a visitor views the public page. The platform does not use this data for its own advertising purposes.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for commercial purposes. We may share information only in the following cases:
- When required to comply with legal requirements or court orders.
- To protect the rights of the platform or the safety of users.
5. Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for 28 days (Free plan) or 90 days (Starter plan) and then automatically deleted. You may delete your account at any time, and all your data will be removed within 30 days.
6. Security
We use HTTPS to encrypt all communications. Passwords are stored in hashed form. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
7. Your Rights
At any time, you have the right to:
- Access the data associated with your account.
- Edit your personal information from the dashboard.
- Request deletion of your account and all your data.
